2022 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP

Welcome to the 2022 USSSA 3 up 3 down baseball World Series Championship!

Wednesday - Skills Competition

Thursday - Begin game play at Deaconess Sports Park in Evansville, IN and Jack Fisher's in Owensboro, KY

Friday - Continue game play at both locations. Parade and opening ceremonies at the Bluegrass Museum and riverfront in Owensboro, KY.

Saturday -  Finish game play and awards.

SKILLS COMPETITION

The skills competition will start on Wednesday July 6th at 3:00. It will be held at Deaconess Sports Park in Evansville, IN.

There will be a coach's home run derby with a cool award to the winner!

There will be a player's home run derby where the individual with the most home runs and the team with the most accumulated home runs will get an award.

There will also be a Sprint the Bases competition where the player with the fastest time will get an award.

Awards will be given on Friday at the opening ceremonies event.

Gate Fee

There will be a spectator fee for game play during this event. We will start collecting the gate fee Thursday morning. 

Pricing for wristbands are: $40.00 for the whole weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if needed) or

$15.00 per day to purchase the day of wristbands. 

Wristbands must be paid for with CASH only.

Players and children 10 and under are free. Up to 3 coach passes per team will be given. 

RULES & CONDUCT

World Series Code of Conduct:

Zero Tolerance

Head coach is responsible for: assistant coaches, players, and spectators.

1. If a spectator gets ejected from a game, the head coach goes as well.

2. If an assistant coach gets ejected, the head coach goes as well.

3. If a head coach gets ejected, player related to coach goes as well. If no relation, current pitcher is to go.

These rules are to make a better experience for all.

The parade and opening ceremonies will take place at Friday after 5 in Owensboro, KY, hosted by WEHT Meteorologist Ron Rhodes! The parade with start at the new Jagoe Holiday Inn Riverfront Stage, follow along the river, and end at the Bluegrass Museum Backyard. TIMELINE:

4:00 PM:

Parade line forms at the Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront. 701 West 1st Street Owensboro, KY 42301

Please park in the Convention Center parking lot directly in front of the convention center. The Holiday Inn is directly across the parking lot.

WBKR Chad Benefeld is going to kick things off. Parents are welcome to stand along the route, follow the parade, or go directly to the Bluegrass Museum to meet the players at the end.

5:30 PM:

Special guest speakers include:

WEHT Meteorologist Ron Rhodes will introduce the teams.

Mayor of Owensboro, Mr. Tom Watson

Bluegrass Museum Executive Director, Mr. Chris Joslin

With plenty of renditions of our favorite baseball lyrics!

6:30 PM:

Awards for the Skills Competition will be given.

7:00 PM:

Conclusion of the Opening Ceremonies. 

Pictures on the stage are welcome after the ceremony.
